Dr. Cathi Miller is a passionate early childhood professor, speaker, and advocate specializing in teacher preparation and educator development. With over two decades of experience in the field, she brings a unique blend of academic insight and real-world expertise to every workshop.
Her dynamic workshops are known for being research-informed, engaging, and refreshingly honest about the joys and challenges of teaching in today’s world. Whether leading sessions on developmentally & culturally-responsive pedagogy, onboarding new teachers, or creating sustainable self-care systems for educators, Dr. Miller centers her work on the belief that caring for teachers is essential to caring for children.
She is also the founder of Treefrog Education, a consulting brand that offers training and support to early childhood programs nationwide, and the host of the upcoming podcast Developmentally Inappropriate with Dr. Cathi, which flips the script on what’s considered “appropriate” for early educators, advocating for the well-being of those who care for our youngest learners.
